  • What are your shipping methods and fees?
    For our friends in Singapore, we currently offer 3 easy ways for you to receive your Tender Objects parcels — Self Collection, Normal Mail (untracked), and Registered Mail (tracked).

    What countries do you ship to?
    We offer flat-rate shipping to most countries outside of Singapore. Do drop us an Instagram DM or Email to enquire.
    How long will it take for me to receive my order?
    For non-customized pieces, we usually require 1-3 business days to process and package your order.
    For custom personalized pieces (e.g. Merci Cuff, Stacked Disc Necklace), we have a production time specified on the product page. Kindly factor this in when selecting your delivery method.

    Will my order be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic?

    For local orders, we do not expect there to be any significant delays in deliveries, unless Singapore enters another round of lockdown.

  • How can I check the status of my order?
    You may do so by signing into your account on our website.
    What do the order statuses mean?
    Your order status page updates in real time as the status of the shipment changes.

    Possible statuses are:

    Confirmed: We've received your order and are currently in the process of packing it.
    Completed: If you've chosen Normal Mail, this could mean that your order has been mailed, but is still making it's way to you.
    On its way: Your order has been mailed.
    Out for delivery The package as arrived in your area and will be delivered to you soon.
    Delivered: The packaged has reached you safely.
    Attempted delivery: Our carrier attempted to deliver your package to your address, but was unsuccessful.
    How do I check the delivery status of my order?
    When your order has been mailed out, you should receive an email/SMS notification if you've enabled it. If not, you may login to your account to view your order status.
    If you have selected tracked mailing, you will be issued a tracking number which you can input into Singpost's website.
    If I chose 'Normal Mail' for local shipping, will I be able to track my order?
    No you will not. Normal Mail does not come with a SingPost tracking number.
    However, we have never had an issue with Singpost's untracked mail service, and you will be able to see the date that your parcel was dropped off at the post office. For peace of mind, kindly opt for Registered Mail.
    For Normal Mail, please allow around 2-4 days working days for SingPost to deliver your parcel to you.
  • What should I do if I received a wrong item or a defective item?

    We're incredibly sorry for the mix up! We always check all our products and orders before we hand-pack them individually. We're so sorry that we let one slip by!

    Please give us a chance to fix this - drop us an email at within 30 days from the delivery day with the following information:

    1. Your Order Reference

    2. The product name of the defective or wrong item

    3. Photo of the defect   (for defective items) /
        Photo of the entire order   (for wrong items)

    4. Product name of the correct item   (for wrong items)

    What is the 1 year free repairs and colour warranty?

    We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Shop with us risk free, knowing you can count on us if things don't go as planned. Kindly refer to the criteria below to deterine whether your Object is eligible for this program.

    If so, you may reach out to us via email or Instagram DM and we'd be happy to assist you.

    Issues eligible for free repairs include:

    • Issues with jump rings / charms that came out, broken clasps, issues with chains, resizing of chains.


    • Kindly note that pendant and charm issues arising from improper care (e.g. dirt, scratches) will not be eligible.
    • For earrings, please note that issues arising from daily wear-and-tear of the posts are also not eligible.

      We encourage you to remove your earrings daily before sleep, to reduce excessive friction from rubbing off the e-coating and 14k gold layer. This would prevent the 925 Sterling Silver core from being exposed, which is prone to tarnish if not cared for properly.

      To care for exposed 925 Sterling Silver, restrict contact with water, chemicals, and other elements, and store the jewellery separately in airtight packaging (e.g. ziplock bags) and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

      If your exposed 925 Sterling Silver posts have tarnished, please do not worry. Simply use a silver polishing cloth to gently remove the tarnish and restore its silver shine.

    Can I change or cancel my order after I've placed it?

    Unfortunately, we do not accept order cancellations and changes at this time.

    However if you've entered the wrong shipping address and your order status is still 'Confirmed', please quickly drop us an email at with your Order Reference number and correct shipping details. Once your order status has changed to 'On its way', we can no longer change your shipping details as your order would have already been mailed.

    If you've accidentally left something out of your cart after checking out, fret not! Quickly make another order and checkout, choosing 'Self Collection' as the shipping method. After that, drop us an email with the two Order Reference numbers, and we'll merge the two orders for you. Remember, we can only do this as long as your order status is still at 'Confirmed'.

    I did not receive an invoice or order confirmation, what should I do?
    We usually require 1-2 business days to fully process your order. If you have not received any order confirmation after 2 business days, please drop us an email at and we'll sort it out for you. Kindly remember to check your spam folders in case.
    I entered the wrong shipping details, what should I do?
    Oh dear! We will only be able to make changes to your shipping details if your order status is at 'Confirmed'. Please quickly drop us an email at with your Order Reference number and correct shipping details. Once your order status has changed to 'On its way' or 'Completed', we can no longer change your shipping details as your order would have already been mailed.
  • Can I wear my jewelry pieces into the shower?

    While our 18k Gold Plated Stainless Steel jewellery are shower-proof and sweat-resistant, it is good to wipe them down with a soft cloth after each encounter.

    Jewellery Objects with e-coating are also well guarded against the effects of water and sweat, however we still recommend removing them before showering and strenuous exercise.

    Jewellery Objects without e-coating and are not PVD coated should avoid sweat and going into the shower when possible. Light day to day perspiration and washing of hands are fine.

    Our silk scrunchies make perfect workout buddies. However, silk like any other fabric may turn damp after an intense workout. Simple rinse and air-dry them after use.

    What silk do you use and what makes your silk products different?

    At Tender Objects, our silk scrunchies and silk sleep masks are exclusively made of 100% pure mulberry silk, grade 6A, using a charmeuse weave, in a luxurious 30 momme silk-density - the highest available!

    30 Momme Silk Density
    Though they are charged at a premium price, most silk products on the market are actually only made with 22 momme silk, where the silk threads are not weaved as closely together. This means that the silk is thinner, not as lustrous, and a lot less durable in the long run.

    Truly get a bang for your buck with our silk scrunchies that are made only with silk of 30 momme silk-density, making them extremely durable, significantly less prone to fraying, and way better at retaining their luster - perfect for frequent use!

    Similarly, our sleep masks are made with the same luxurious 30 momme silk, making them significantly more durable than their 22 momme counterparts - being able to withstand all that tossing and turning every night! They are also filled with pure long-strand silk floss that fluffs up perfectly - like plush clouds resting on your eyes.

    What is momme?

    Momme (m/m) is a unit typically used to measure the quality of silk fabrics. One momme = 4.340 grams per square meter; 8 mommes is approximately 1 ounce per square yard or 35 grams per square meter.

    Thus we can say that 'momme' for silk is comparable to 'thread count' for cotton. Typically, the higher the momme, the better the quality of silk as the silk fibers are weaved closer together. This makes the products more weighted and durable as they are less prone to fraying and the effects of friction, while also creating higher shine and softness.

    What is charmeuse weave?

    Charmeuse refers to a specific type of weave that creates a wonderfully weighted silk fabric with a beautiful sheen. This involves crossing the lengthwise thread over three or more of the transverse threads. This gives the silk a lustrous and glistening finish on its front, and a contrasting the dull finish on its back.

    Many materials can be woven using the charmeuse weave. However, none of them can match the equisiteness of 100% mulberry silk charmeuse, which is why we use it in all our Tender Objects products!

    Why is silk so expensive?

    Silk is a very fine and delicate material especially when it is at its initial stages of production. Hence, it is often cultivated and produced in a highly controlled and highly monitored environment.

    Also, silk production is slow as it requires many stages. From waiting for the silkworms to grow and spin their cocoons, to spinning their fibers, weaving the fabric and treating it. Each stage has to be carefully monitored and performed by skilled craftsmen, to ensure that the silk produced is of the finest quality.

    Furthermore, it takes almost 3,000 cocoons to produce a yard of woven silk fabric, and each silkworm eats 200 pounds of mulberry leaves in order to grow 70 times its size to form a cocoon.That's a lot of leaves!

    What's the difference between silk and satin?

    Satin is often seen as an alternative to silk, but it is actually a weave and not a actual material in itself. It is usually made of a synthetic fabric such as polyester, nylon, or rayon. Thus, it is manmade and not natural, unlike silk.

    Satin is unable to adapt to environments, and remains uncomfortable as your body temperature fluctuates throughout the day.
    Silk is naturally temperature-regulating and extremely breatheable. In warm weather, it allows heat to escape quickly, providing a cooling effect on the skin. In cool temperatures, in retains heat, keeping you nice and toasty.
    Smoothness Not that smooth.
    Though satin looks shiny and smooth, running your fingers across it would prove otherwise. The abrasiveness of the surface will only tug and pull your skin and hair.
    Extremely smooth.
    Silk when woven in the charmeuse weave is butter smooth to the touch. It doesn't tug or pull your skin and hair, but gently glides over it instead, reducing wrinkles, hair frizzing, and hair breakage.
    Hypoallergenic No.
    Though satin looks shiny, it does not contain any hypoallergenic properties and might thus irritate the skin. It is also a synthetic material, which may cause reactions in people with sensitive skins.
    Silk is naturally hypoallergenic, and the tightly woven silk fibers make it inhabitable for dust mites. It also doesn't absorb the natural oils and moisture from your skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the night.
    Is your silk produced ethically and sustainably?

    Yes! We do our best to ensure that we obtain our silk only from farms and factories with ethical and sustainable practices.

  • Do you offer product warranty?

    Yes we do! We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Shop with us risk free, knowing you can count on us if things don't go as planned. Thus, we offer free repairs & color warranty for all jewellery Objects launched after Jan 2023 (exclusions apply), up till 1 year from purchase.

    Drop us a DM / email with your order number and pictures / videos of the issue. We'll assess and see if it is eligible for free repair.

    Color warranty:
    This covers any premature fading or oxidation of the gold layer within 1 year from purchase date. It does not cover any scratches or accidental indents caused by daily wear.

    Why should I switch to silk scrunchies when my black rubber bands work fine?

    While those black elastic packs are extremely inexpensive and do its job of holding up your hair, they're actually extremely damaging to your hair! Their abrasive surface creates friction as it rubs against your hair when you tie it, and yanks out your hair when you pull it out. For those of us with chemically treated hair, we certainly do NOT need any more hair problems!

    Our silk scrunchies on the other hand are extremely soft and buttery smooth to the touch. They glide over your hair gently and seamlessly, helping to reduce hair frizziness, hair breakage, and hair loss!

    What's the difference between the different scrunchie types?

    We currently have 2 sizes for our scruchies - 20mm and 35mm. This refers to the length of the 'pouf', which is the internal diameter subtracted from the external diameter.

    Our 20mm scrunchies are slightly muted and unassuming, yet they add just the right amount of allure. Nothing says sophistication quite like our 20mm scrunchies.

    Our 35mm scrunchies on the other hand, are frivolous, yet reserved ― the perfect piece to top a cosmopolitan look.

    What is 'Lite' packaging for scrunchies?
    All scrunchies come in our standard box packaging which is 100% reusable and recyclable! However, in order to bring you the best possible experience, it does come with a little more packaging waste. Thus, we've decided to provide a 'Lite' packaging option, for those of you who'd like to help us save the environment and reduce packaging waste! Our 'Lite' packaging option features featherweight organza bag that's also really pretty, 100% reusable, and with 0% waste! It's perfect for storing small jewelry items and accessories both in the home and on your travels.
    Why would I need a silk sleep mask?

    Sleep masks improve the quality of your sleep
    Far from just being the ultimate pampering accessory, sleep masks actually help to improve the quality of sleep as they block out light. Even when we darken our bedrooms to the greatest extent possible, light from the street, other rooms, and even your chargers still has a habit of creeping in. Even the exposure to the slightest bit of artificial light at night may compromise the quality of out sleep. Our sleep masks help to block out such intrusive light, immersing you in complete darkness for that good night's sleep.

    With the rise in popularity of blue light glasses, we all know how harmful blue light can be to out eyes. Whether its blue light from all the chargers in your room, or when your phone lights up in the middle of the night, it can definitely disrupt our sleep cycle. By blocking all of this out, our sleep masks will provide you with that uninterrupted sleep that you deserve.

    Silk sleep masks protect your skin and prevent puffiness
    When you sleep without a sleep mask, contact with your pillow can stretch the delicate skin surrounding your eyes. Our sleep masks which are made of 100% pure mulberry silk, are extremely gentle on the skin and helps to protect the delicate eye area, preventing wrinkles.

    Silk being a naturally temperature regulating material can help cool the eye area in warmer climates. This helps reduce the swelling and puffiness we often experience in the morning, especially when we haven't gotten enough rest the night before.

    Silk sleep masks help treat dry eyes
    Overnight, your eyes are exposed to dry air from the air conditioning, dust, and other irritants. This is especially concerning if you suffer from nocturnal lagophthalmos, which prevents you from closing your eyes completely when you're asleep. Our sleep masks not only help to retain the skin's natural moisture around the eye, but they also provide a protective cocoon as you sleep, blocking out the irritants. They're hypoallergenic as well!

    Can your silk sleep masks fit my head?
    Our sleep masks come in an un-stretched circumference of 52.5cm, which should fit the average range of head sizes. You may measure your head circumference at the point just above your ears.
    Do you do gift wrapping?

    Our regular box packaging is beautiful in itself, thus making it extremely suitable as gifts! Each box is topped off with a lovely satin ribbon in our signature color.

    What if I want to send a Tender Objects package as a gift?

    Our Tender Objects products make excellent gifts for anyone and everyone! If you'd like to order one as a gift, please indicate so under 'Notes' in your cart. Please also tell us the name of the recipient, as well as the occasion (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, thank you gift, etc.). If you'd like to add a little note to the package, please feel free to include it here as well! For bridesmaid gifts, corporate gifts, and other bulk orders, we offer special discounts and customized packaging to suit your needs. Drop us a DM or email to enquire more.

    Is your packaging sustainable?

    Yes! We use kraft boxes as they are 100% recyclable and made from sustainable materials. The boxes we use are also extremely sturdy and durable, so they are completely reusable as well.

    Our 'Lite' packaging uses organza bags which are also 100% reusable, perfect for storing jewelry and other small accessories.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We prefer PayNow (Singpaore ony)!

    We also accept both credit and debit cards using Visa and Mastercard.
    We also accept ShopPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

    How do I pay using PayNow? (Singapore only)

    Paying via PayNow is a little different from the others, but still super easy, we promise!

    Step 1: Ensure you have everything in your cart and proceed to checkout as per usual.
    Step 2: When asked to choose a payment method, select 'PayNow'.
    Step 3: Select 'Complete Order'.
    Step 4: At the order confirmation page, scan the QR code and enter the amount as stated at checkout. Include you order number under 'remarks' if available.
    Step 5: Drop us a DM on instagram (@tender.obj) or email us with:
    - Your full name
    - Your contact number / email
    - A screenshot of your payment
    - Your order number
    Step 6: Wait for us to confirm your payment and you'll receive an email confirmation from us!

    Kindly note that your order is only confirmed after we have received your payment via PayNow.

    I can't seem to pay via credit card, is there another way?

    Yes! You may make your payments via PayNow. Sadly, we are only able to extend this offer to our friends in Singapore.

    However, we are currently working on bringing you more payment methods, so stay tuned! If you're still having trouble with payment, kindly drop us a DM or email and we'll help you out.

  • What are the terms of my discount code?

    For unique discount codes that are issued directly to you, you will only be able to redeem this code once. You will be able to pass this code to a friend to use, but it can only be used once.

    For store-wide discount codes, you may redeem them as many times as you'd like, up till the date of its expiry.

    Please note that each promotion is unique and will contain its own terms. If you have any queries regarding discount codes, feel free to drop us an email or DM on Instagram!

    Why am I unable to use my discount?

    There are a few possible reasons why your discount code could be invalid:

    1. The code has expired
    Please check the code's date of expiry, as some of them are only valid for a limited time, or expire after a specific date.
    2. The minimum spending requirement was not met
    Minimum spend requirements need to be met prior to adding of shipping costs.
    3. The products in your cart are not eligible for discount
    Discount codes may have exclusions on certain products.
    4. The code was not applied to the correct field
    Remember to key in the code under the 'Promo Code' field at checkout.
    I placed an order but forgot to use my discount code, what should I do?

    Discount codes can't be applied to an order that has already been made, and we do not provide reimbursements if the code wasn't applied. However, you can always save it for your next purchase with us as long as you fulfill the terms and conditions of the discount!

  • Do you accept returns?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns at this point of time.

    For wrong items / defective items, we will do a 1-to-1 exchange for you, so you will still be able to enjoy your Tender Objects items!

    Do you accept exchanges?

    We only accept exchanges on 2 scenarios:

    1. Wrong item received

    2. Item received is defective

    Please see the section 'Orders & Delivery' > 'Order Issues'on what to do if any of the above 2 scenarios happen to you.

    We now also offer free repairs for all jewelry items up to 1 year from date of purchase. Do reach out if you are facing any issues. More info on this on our Instagram story highlights under 'Info'!
